Do you ship internationally?

            At this time, we do not process international orders; however, we would be happy to provide contact information for distributors that do provide international shipping.  Please contact our Customer Service Department for more information.

What about Alaska and Hawaii?

            We are happy to ship to Alaska and Hawaii.  Our default shipping method is through UPS, however, in order to help reduce shipping costs, we use the US Postal Service when shipping to Alaska and Hawaii.  Please contact our Customer Service Department for a shipping quote.

I need expedited shipping, but the only options available on your site are UPS Ground or UPS 3 Day.  What do I do?

            If you are in need of expedited shipping, please contact our Customer Service Department and we will do our best to meet your needs.

Why can’t I use a PO Box as a shipping address?

            We ship through UPS; they are unable to deliver to post offices boxes.  Feel free to contact our Customer Service Department if you have further questions.

I am ordering for my department.  Can I be billed?

            Yes.  The Fire Service Bookstore accepts purchase orders and will bill departments.  When placing an order online for your department, simply select ‘purchase order’ as your method of payment. 

            Individuals may not use this option for payment.  We may contact you to verify departmental information.

What is your return policy?

            Items may be returned within 30 business days without prior authorization.  Items being returned after 30 days require a Return Authorization number and are subject to approval.  All items must be returned in their original condition.  Returns are subject to a 15% restock fee of the list price.

Why are instructor materials restricted purchases?

            Only certified instructors can purchase curriculum.  In order to ensure this, we verify all purchases of curriculum materials through a commanding officer or training institution.  Please be prepared to provide this contact information.

How do I know if I am purchasing the most current edition of my book?

            We try to provide as much information about the titles we carry as possible; this includes noting when a new edition is available.  If you have specific questions about a title, feel free to contact our Customer Service Department.

Are there additional student supplements for my books?

            To find the supplemental materials – such as study guides – for your title, scroll to the bottom of the page under the heading ‘Related Items,’ or use our site search to locate the supplement.
