This curriculum provides a complete set of training materials to prepare individuals for certification for Levels I, II, and III using the using the IFSTA Fire and Emergency Services Instructor, 7th Edition, as the primary text. It meets NFPA 1041, Standard for Fire Service Instructor Professional Qualifications (2002).

The curriculum includes the resources needed to effectively teach Levels I, II, and III. The curriculum consists of information relevant to all levels, followed by level-specific sections. You may print out copies of student materials such as the assignment sheets, skills sheets, and tests. The curriculum includes:

• Lesson plans for the instructor including learning objectives, a detailed lesson outline, assignment sheets, skills sheets, lesson quizzes, lesson tests, and final exams
• PowerPoint®Visuals for each lesson

This curriculum is customizable to meet local needs. All the files are in Microsoft Word or PowerPoint®to facilitate customization. The CD-ROM contains a "Preview" version of the curriculum with links in the lessons to the appropriate PowerPoint®slides. The customizable Microsoft Word files contain no links and are ready for your input.
